NARDA's Partnership with the Consumer Electronics Retailers Coalition (CERC)
NARDA is actively working on important initiatives affecting its members who sell and service consumer electronics. In partnership with the Consumer Electronics Retailers Coalition (CERC), major initiatives include Electronics Recycling and the June 2009 conversion from Analog to Digital Television (DTV) signals.
NARDA is working with CERC and numerous state retail associations to help to deal with legislative measures that seek to manage consumer electronics at their end-of-life, in a way that is environmentally sound and does not place undo burden on NARDA members. There are currently over four dozen bills pending in 23 states and in New York City.
